About Our Team
Founded in 2017, Wishing on a Star Travel is a home-based agency located in NE Ohio. Our team of travel advisors reside throughout the US and pride themselves on their passion for travel, dedication to their guests and top-tier vacation planning services.
Working together as a team, we are dedicated to providing our advisors with the tools and resources they need to not only plan amazing vacations for their guests, but to build profitable travel businesses.

Do you have what it takes?
What is required to apply?
- We are looking for applicants with travel experience to a Disney destination, cruise, or all-inclusive resort at least three times in the last five years (for Disney related interest, your stays must be “on property” to be considered)
- Extensive knowledge of your area of expertise
- The ability to work at least 20 hours per week and have the ability to work with clients at any time should an issue arise during their travels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with social media and technology
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- The ability to participate in training sessions, whether it be with the agency or a supplier
What can you expect of us?
- Support from day one, including business coaching with agency owner
- Access to an on-demand, 8-step training program that will teach you the basics of the industry and more
- Access to supplier trainings and consideration for onsite events
- Competitive commission scale with the ability to earn up to 85% commission (based on overall traveled sales)
- Timely commission payments, paid out twice per month via direct deposit
- Agency owner who is full-time in the industry and is available daily
Please note that this is a 1099 – Independent Contractor position. There is a $40.00 monthly access fee (billed annually) that covers the following, which keeps us compliant with Department of Labor rules and regulations:
- Errors and Omissions Insurance
- Email Address
- Website Listing
- Extension for our 1-888 line
- Use of our twice per month newsletters and once per month blog post – to be shared with your audience (content creation, done for you!)
- Access to our training platform in Google Classroom, containing videos, documents and guides
- Business coaching with agency owner
- Private agent forum to ask questions and receive support
- Access to our vacation planning tools such as Travefy quotes/samples, sample emails, Canva documents and more
- Other items as specified in your contract
